I usually don’t build at all, but when I found this group unclaimed I decided I might as well give a crack at it, and I didn’t want to spend an extensive amount on a builder, so I decided to just try it myself. I am looking for feedback and ideas about the cafe, primarily the exterior before I start the interior and landscaping.
Here is the build:
Please note that I am a very novice builder (prefer scripting), and all constructive criticism is welcome.
It looks good! I like the shape and the structure of the cafe, and a great start on it as well.
I guess you could maybe have some outdoor seating as a suggestion since I don’t see that much space inside of the cafe, or maybe a third floor as some sort of party room.
Either way, it’s a good start. 
Great work! I really like your use of different materials throughout the build. Here are some of my suggestions as to how you could improve on the exterior further:
There is very little detail and you can make it nicer by adding benches, trees, pathways, bushes, etc. I think adding different types of smaller islands or rocks with plants surrounding the water would help to build a more lively world you can add greenery and some nature within the build (and maybe around the building). What I mean by nature is stuff like trees, bushes, mushrooms, flowers a fountain, maybe with a dock going down to the water.
Adding decorations outside of the cafe to attract players and to set an atmosphere. I would definitely look at some reference images of cafes to get some ideas on what to add to your exterior I’ll attach an image below to see what I mean about a dock being added to your cafe.
I really like where you’re going with this build. I do hope you continue to add stuff to your cafe to make it look more welcoming overall you’ve done a great job.

Thank you for the feedback. Will definitely add hedges, trees, and other exterior decoration. Will for sure consider the dock and fountain. Appreciate the suggestions very much and will definitely do when I begin the landscaping of the cafe.

How long has this taken you?
I’m not sure entirely exactly how long this took me, I’d have to make a wild guess at 2-3 hours, it probably would have been a bit shorter but I did something in the command bar that deleted literally the whole build, I believe it was a for i,v in pairs loop and I meant to disable castshadow on all the parts, but I actually did v:Destroy() which meant I had to roll it back, I rolled it back a little too far, I don’t know why, but I never got to rolling it back just the right amount and I ended up just redoing like half of it.
