I just released my new game, “Escape the Facility Obby” (after way too long developing it). Here is the link. I released it yesterday but no one has played it yet :|. I would appreciate if you could give any tips or feedback!
Hello! Congratulations on releasing your new game, “Escape the Facility Obby.” It is evident that a significant amount of effort has gone into its development. However, there are several areas that could benefit from improvement.
- GUI Design: The buttons in the GUI are not very appealing. I recommend redesigning them to make them more attractive and user-friendly.
- Loading Screen: The cover image upon entering the game does not capture attention and lacks purpose. Instead, consider implementing a loading screen while the game assets are being prepared. If the game loads correctly without one, then this may not be necessary.
- Level Progression: I noticed that I had to repeat the same stage multiple times, which can become tedious for players. It would be more engaging to provide immediate access to the second stage, allowing progression after completing the first.
- Lobby Button: The button to return to the lobby is redundant, as players are already in the lobby. Removing it would streamline the experience.
- Settings Options: Currently, the settings only allow for sound adjustments. However, players can manage sound through Roblox’s built-in settings or their devices. Consider expanding the settings to offer more options.
- Teleportation GUI: After teleporting to a level, the GUI remains on screen. I recommend minimizing it and only keeping a “Return to Lobby” button, making it smaller and red. This color choice can signify defeat, which would prevent players from returning to the lobby until they have successfully completed the level.
- Level Detailing: The levels feel somewhat empty, especially given the enclosed environment. Adding more objects and details could enhance the overall experience. The same applies to the lobby—more details and objects would improve immersion.
These are my observations after a few minutes of gameplay. I hope this feedback is helpful, and I look forward to seeing how your game evolves!
Best regards,
Melnykow

Well…
- The game lacks any sound, despite there being an option to control sound volume.
- The poor lighting makes it pretty hard to get through the obstacles.
- The player should not keep doing the same level in order to get to a harder one, unless you make it so that the obstacles in each portal get randomly generated each time.
