File / Place name before "ROBLOX Studio" in window title

If I’m working with multiple places at once (it’s good for me to switch between two creative tasks at once so I don’t get brain-locked), it’s not apparent which window is which:

It would be better if the two windows were named:
Court - ROBLOX Studio (Drop the .rbxl)
Project2 - ROBLOX Studio

(Window titles are also what display in the taskbar)

I literally just looked at this on studio before I read this post. Really annoying. Support!

This would be good on Windows 8, so I think ill support.

I just realized I don’t even have window tiles in my taskbar, but if I did this would save me some trouble. :stuck_out_tongue:

Nice little ninja improvement to studio.

I don’t need it when using my custom windows 7 tiles though.

I did notice what Echo said while using vista though

Although I agree it would be nice, I feel like this would ignore the standard that the application title always comes first. Any other application I’ve ever used where the title adds on the current working file, the file/project name is appended to the title, not prepended.

This is totally wrong, dude.

Notepad++ says the title of the current file you’re working on, then notepad++ after a hyphen.
Google chrome, same thing.
Skype windows (the separated compact-view chats, not the main home window), same thing.
Winamp, same thing. Shows the current song first.
Paint.net, file name first, same thing.

Roblox studio, oh wait, no, this is the ugly duckling that says Roblox studio first. d:

If you’ll notice in the OP screenshot, Firefox does the same thing

Interesting, good points though. Applications I use happen to append it. I don’t use any of the ones you listed except chrome

Replace notepad++ with sublimetext
Replace skype with Slack or an IRC client (I used pidgin)
Replace paint.net with photoshop CS6

I’m testing all these and they all say the file first, then their application name. Idk what applications you’re using

The main one that came to mind for me was, All of Microsoft Office.

And so the list goes…

Internet Explorer
Eclipse
Sony Vegas
Steam
Paint
Notepad (basically all Microsoft applications)

And against the standard I have:

IDA Pro
Everything Crazyman32 uses

bump (thank you search feature)

YES!

And for test server/test player scenarios, can it say “Player”, “Player1”, “Player2” instead of “Place1” every time??

And then we have me, who experiences both what echoreaper and dummiez sees combined. Windows 10 here. Doesn’t change the order if they’re on a script or the freecam mode, #1 is filename first, #2 is studio first lol

Oh, must be a recent update. I just updated to the latest version of Studio and file names now come first.

Edit: Not sure if coincidence that it was fixed when I updated studio – maybe there was a bug I was experiencing based on Mael’s screenshot
