Filling a position through application page leads to unexpected behaviour

Reproduction Steps

Browser: Microsoft Edge

Create Job Post
With a different account, navigate to the Job Post and Apply.
With the creator’s account, navigate to “View Applications”
Navigate to the application
Select “Select (Hire)”

Expected Behavior

I expect the job application to be marked as “Accepted”
I expect the job post to be marked as “Filled”

Actual Behavior

The job application is marked as “Accepted”
The job post remains in an “Open” state

On the job post page, I am able to:
Change Status > Mark as Close

I am able to select “Someone was hired for this job”
I am unable to select the correct person who was accepted.
I am presented with a list of “Open” applications, with the “Accepted” applications omitted.

Workaround

I must close the job post by indicating that the position was not filled.
Or, I must hire someone through the Change Status feature, and not through the job application itself.
