As a Roblox Developer, it is currently too hard to accept friend requests from developers which I work with as a team, with multiple spam bots sending me friend requests. This majorly ruins the user’s experience due to having no way to filter friend requests like filtering such that accounts with a certain age can send you a request, thus making them hard to go through, to accept the appropriate requests.
If this issue was addressed, it would improve my development experience because I wouldn’t need to scroll past countless of pages just to get to a specific friend request for a team member, with tons of spam account sending me friend requests and burying the desired request even deeper.
Is there a reason why you cannot navigate to each developers’ individual profile and accept the requests from there? If anything there should be a filter by username option, filtering by account age seems useless since many team members of studios tend to use recently created accounts that are used specifically for publishing under that studio. It also would mean that you would still need to scroll past countless old Roblox accounts that sent you a friend requests before reaching the desired friend request to accept.
Why not let us disable friend requests altogether? I don’t want anyone to be able to send me friend requests. If you need someone to add you, you can temporarily re-enable them.
Exactly. As a Roblox developer, the feature is required for things that shouldn’t even be necessary. It should be removed as it creates clutter in the sidebar and spams your Roblox notifications.
Alternatively, let us disable the friends list altogether on our account settings.
Either that, or requests should last for 5 minutes before automatically being ignored.
