Filter Upcoming Event Brand Names, Icons & Thumbnails for Public Publishing

As more newer official branded and sponsored events come through to Roblox being more present in the metaverse, there is increased risk in more leaks, fake experiences and fake developer products being made publicly with the incentive of making a profit out of vulnerable users. Recently, I reported as a moderator that NARS had a fake UGC experience with several players joining - NARS, who have an upcoming Roblox event experience hadn’t launched their experienced at all yet. A simple search for (brand keyword) “NARS” and we had already found games with several fake developer products (being promoted as real) in them with players joining them constantly. This will not only make both the player experience (especially for young people) more misleading, but will result in confusion overall for the communities of brand events alike on Roblox.

I highly recommend that known upcoming brand partnership names, logos and thumbnails should be filtered and blacklisted from being published by the public as soon as possible excluding the official account owners of the brand or event name, otherwise we will end up with mostly young people being misguided into purchasing fake products before the official experience has even launched. Filtering brand names can easily prevent fake event experiences from gaining traction and should reduce the number of users uploading fake event assets.
