I have been developing this game for 3–4 months and want to fix all the shortcomings before advertising.
The core gameplay involves selling self-made outfit ideas to customers to earn Robux. Customers want to refresh their Roblox avatar, and players take on the role of stylists, proposing and selling outfit concepts that suit them.
Icon, thumbnail, description, core loop, etc.—
I welcome honest and strict feedback! Please point out all the shortcomings, and I will actively incorporate improvements.
I haven’t played or experienced any actual gameplay yet (i’m not exactly in need of robux), so all I can do is yap about the UI.
It’s really nice. The UI, map, and just overall experience feels smooth and polished. Again, I have not tested any outfit selling or anything, but some other players in the server seem to be doing fine.
Some small UI mistakes, which are really insignificant are the loading screen and scrolling frames.
Testing this on mobile, one of your loading sequences seem to ignore the mobile safe zone.
The following details I wouldn’t call mistakes, just little miffs that get on my nerves.
The scrolling frames for the settings/badges frame are able to scroll both the X and Y. When scrolling the frame on mobile, the frame might jitter left and right a TEENY bit.
Is it a big problem to players? No.
Does it slowly annoy me? Yeah, a little bit.
Overall though, great game. It will be a little hard getting your game out since there are other games similar such as Buy My Avatar, but it seems like the game has a little playerbase already.
And trying to save the avatar without owning the items leads to this (I’m guessing unintended) behavior.
Also, I’m sort of questioning the purpose of this game: I’m supposed to tip people for the outfits they created if I like them? Or is there a way for players to gain income through other means? Maybe I simply am not familiar with the demographic which frequents games like “pls donate”, but personally I do not have any incentive to tip anyone.
