I posted a sneak peek about 4 days ago or so of my trading system, now that it’s out and bug tested i wanted to show you guys the complete product!
Latest updates:
Inventory (stores regular furniture as well as collectibles aka limiteds)
Collectibles (Furniture version of roblox limiteds, only certain amounts to be sold, come with serial ID)
Trading (Trade collectibles and regular furniture with a mixture of money to other players!)
Here is the game:
For that last picture I traded someone 4.9k in game money for the second minifig, so now we have 2 sold, and 100 in stock, So there are now 98 left for the crowd to buy.
I would show the trading GUI but my PC is being funky. Everything after trading goes to inventory, here is the game to test yourself: Grand City of Robloxia - Roblox
Thanks so far 13 collectible serials sold. Trading works with non collectible time too until I have a nice stack of Collectibles around.[/quote]
One question is on my mind, is the game cross servers like if there is 3 servers up and a new in-game limited comes out it goes to all servers and everyone has to buy it before other people in the other servers do?
EDIT: Also same thing goes to trading, can you trade with people on different servers?

Not giving it out like that for that exact reason you described. I shutdown for things like that to give EVERYONE a FAIR chance at buying the collectibles. It does work cross server though, so if I shutdown and 3 servers come up they all share the pool of lets say 50 collectibles, and each player can get at max one collectible from the shop. This gives an interesting twist on the typical inventory system since it implements rarity just like roblox did.
I do not, however, support cross-server trading as the datastores don’t update frequently enough or have enough room for this in the one minute space. I know you could try to do it with HTTP Service but that’s something I am not getting into. Either way the final game will be 50 (100 if roblox enables it) players big, and I`ll have a giant park area in the middle so people can meet and trade things, almost like trade hangout.
Edit: I’d like to note the rediculous amounts of money that have been sold in game since the update. The “bought with xxxx R$” is after sales tax, meaning that show much actually ended up in my pocket.
I actually never used his code per se, and even if I did I already knew what to do I was just seeing if it would cache, he did help explain things, though. So I guess he did kinda help

I suppose you guys would make up the DataStore Duo? I use it too but no one knows .-. They’ll know after I make my haxy personal server system with it for my game

To busy for a duo, lol. I am though planning on using some more for the custom tools system.
Don’t reset it, I will make a lot of ingame money for ScriptOn #69 D:
Also, nice job with all the Datastore stuff, I am not able to do things like that yet.
Your game looks really awesome! I wish I can allow users to place their furniture anywhere, but the houses in my new game are awkward shape and odd in size so stuff may go wrong.
