Finding the height of a point in a triangle

Currently I am attempting to make a buoyancy system for some gerstner waves. I currently have a cube, and have the 3 bones of the triangle that it is in. I think I have the correct normal, although I can’t get the height of the point in the triangle. I’ve been using the post linked below to try and understand and create this function, but still haven’t been able to. I’m not great at maths, so I haven’t really been able to wrap my head around what I need to do yet, other than just get the height of a 2d point on a 3d triangle. Thank you to anyone who helps.

Figured it out. Went back to using the post linked, and it just worked, not sure why I couldn’t get it earlier
