Finding/creating Shirt Textures

Hey all! I hope you’re having a brilliant time.

I’ve currently been trying to make shirts on ROBLOX, and one of the most common issues I have faced is finding shirt textures or even making them, has anyone got an idea for me? It’d also help if you have any textures you can give out, so far I have just been using the texture below:

Adding on, any great tips to help with my career? Thanks.

For doing shirt textures I usually do this: (with paint.net but you can use other programs)

Let’s say I wanted a cotton texture:
I’ll search up ‘‘HD Cotton Texture’’ and find one with a nice pattern
I’ll resize it and paste it all over the template
Delete where it’s transparent
Then black and alpha + overlay or just multiply it

As for shading I recommend the smudge tool and just blurring your lines and playing with the opacity’s. There’s not really a specific way to do it everybody’s different you just have to teach yourself and do things to your liking.

Interesting response, I currently use PhotoPea, a free website for photoshopping.

You can draw black lines on the edges of your template with a 0% hardness for the brush and just blur it or smudge part of it and then lower the opacity. I suggest for PDN using bolt bait’s plugin pack it’s supper basic. Then to make it stand out do some white circles in the middle and blur them.

Ah alright. If you have windows paint.net is free. I highly recommend it and a lot of other designers use it! It’s also pixel based so it makes things easy and precise. Also most tutorials are based off the program.
