I am still learning a ton about 3d composition/animation, and I consider this to be a significant leap forward in my art, but obviously to the trained eye it likely has some flaws since im not a professional 3d artist.
Coming from a relatively untrained eye, I think it looks really good! The first second is a bit weird, but the firing animation is very nice!
It’s a rather unnatural transition down. Imagine trying to get into that position in real life. You wouldn’t be going a constant speed, or perfectly get into position, there would be a little bounce from your knees. I’d incorporate some momentum, perhaps leaning more against the wall.
I was aware of this after reviewing the full animation before rendering, but I didn’t want to mess with the crazy amount of sloppy keyframes. I will definately practice more animation regardless and it’ll take time to nail human momentum.
Best of luck! It’s definitely coming along pretty well.
Nice dude! You can tell you spent quite a lot of time on this.
Only really one thing I noticed, the arm of the avatar goes through the wall, other than that it looks pretty good!
