Howdy developers. I have little to no experience in the blender software as my main focus is building via studio, but I still try my best to somewhat balance some assets made in studio with assets in blender, either way, the last time I used blender was like couple months ago and I just decided to hop onto blender to try and model a low-poly bonsai tree for the restaurant I’m building.
I would like some feedback on this as I only just tried to model again in ages. Does it look good, is it bad? If so, what could I do to make it look better? Thanks!
when you left click on a object there will be 2 options for shading
flat and smooth
click smooth for a smoothened effect.
another thing you need to do is go to object properties the button with a triangle. Then go to normals and activate autosmooth.
Yes the shading is a change to the actual geometry normals so yes it will effect it if you want you can change the normals manually to get cool effects with lighting!
