First detailed? model in blender

Well done! Those tutorials are really helpful, I also recommend to start with something easier, like low poly models to learn the basics and then continue step by step!
Well made donut! I did this tutorial too, but like to the 4th part and the quit it, so respect for that

It should be common knowledge that blender is used for many things in Roblox.

A lot of developers use Blender.

Im aware, however this post does not show anything related to roblox (yet)

I stared at it for 3 minutes just hoping that donut will be on my hand

You’re following the Donut practice from BlenderGuru, right? Looks nice! You’re on your way to getting better with Blender. I’m still learning the software myself and I’m hoping to get better at it. It’s going to be a long journey so good luck to you.

Ohh ok. See where you’re coming from.

It looks so good!
Can I eat it xD

All the sprinkles seem to all be pointing in roughly the same direction. Assuming you’re using a particle system, I think there is an option for rotation randomness. Also, it looks like the donut is a perfect torus. Maybe use some sculpting to make it look more imperfect?

it looks good but there are some things that make it look fake like the direction of the sprinkles and the ambient occlusion is off i think

Blender guru tutorial is best.

ty. I’ve seen a lot of people say this, but I think what’s wrong is just the specific seed of the particles… you can see that a lot of the sprinkles are facing in different directions, but in general it looks kind of in uniform, so I changed that til I found a better one :+1:

The sprinkes are place unnaturally they are facing the center of the ring.

Nice Model!

I’d just randomize the rotation as well as size of the sprinkles a little more, that would increase the level of realism in my opinion. Other than that, great work! I hope we’ll see more from you soon. :slightly_smiling_face: :doughnut:

The only thing I see that doesn’t seem natural about that is the “sprinkles” they are all pointing to the middle try having it more random.

I actually did this tutorial and lost all of my files. Looks pretty great though!
