First ever GFX Work

These are my very first GFX’s, and I think they look good - at least to me.
So if there is anything that I could possibly do better please let me know haha
Feel free to criticize, as it will help me improve!

Completely fresh render, so no photoshopping is involved other than adding a watermark.

Well made! There could be some improvements regarding the shadows in the GFX, they look at little bit more of the ordinary, you should also try using colorcorrection to make it look more old and more warstyled, if you know what I mean.

Probably should have edited it to make it look better, haha. Thanks for the feedback, will definitely remember this.

What are the lighter patches on the soldier’s shoulderboards? Are those like rendering issues?

It’s great, the lighting fits the feel of the render well, one thing I can say, assuming you used texture bump map, is to maybe tone it down a bit. It’s meant to add a touch to the render, not to overpower it and be the first thing you notice. Also, I would turn off reflective caustics, it adds noise, and do clothes really reflect like that? But really, it’s great, and even more impressive that this is one of your first!

They we’re part of the Uniform, honestly don’t know.

They look good but why the hell do the shoes got folds on them… But everything else seems really good for a beginner.

camera angles is kind of the problem and make sure to remove the specular from the texture to get rid of the awful shine that is happening
