I made my first ever Low poly tree in Blender today. I have never felt that comfortable with Blender until today. Please give constructive criticism so I can improve!
Looks great for a Low-Poly goal! I’d recommend using quads instead of triangles, to avoid possible future shading errors. You could also do smooth edges, and autosmooth but it looks great like this too!
Thanks for the feedback, I will experiment more with your suggestions.
Branches should be on a different height from each other. Using subdivision surface is optional, I’d suggest not using it.
It is too symmetrical, try to make some leaf sections on the tree larger than others. Good job for your first build though!
Thank you for the feedback. I will take note and change up the style.
I am not a low-poly builder, but I only can say: Really good.
I don’t think the physics on the tree fits right, in real life I can picture those twigs breaking off. However if it were in a fantasy setting I can totally see it.
