First GFX in Blender 2.7

This was not my first time making a GFX, but I usually use Blender 2.9 so for this GFX I decided to try to use Blender 2.7 for a change. And feedback. (Yes I know it is really bright I couldn’t really get it so it wouldn’t look like the moon)

Also, I put my youtube channel for the watermark I didn’t steal this

This looks pretty cute! I like the shapes of the cushions. Well done!

Looks very good! However, I feel like it is a bit too bright! Otherwise, looks amazing.

Lightning and colours of the objects such as sofa and the wall behind could be better if it’s not white…because everything in that is white , try different colours too…:upside_down_face:

Your GFX looks good , couple things you could fix though is the brightness definitely and maybe have the right hand on the couch of something. Anyhow its good.

If you fix the cushions to look like the aren’t inside each other then it would be done. Overall its really good for a first go and I think you very talented.

It looks good. It is just really bright with all the white furniture stuff.

It’s simple, which is a good theme to see for once. But my only problem is that everything’s blends, the grays and whites all blend with each other, which just makes a sorta white mesh into each other. The GFX itself looks really good, the only thing that I think needs a change is the colour palette (not saying I’m against the theme, just put more complimentary colours)

Pretty good. Few things that you could perfect:

  1. It’s too bright, you can’t tell where the top of the sofa is.
  2. The pose of the character seems a bit weird. You should make them seem more relaxed by making the arm bend downward a bit more.
  3. Not much of a thing you can perfect but if you have the ability to do so, I would recommend keeping the face blank when rendering and drawing your own face in a photo editing or drawing software. If you can’t do this, i’d recommend choosing a face to use that doesn’t have the normal plain smile in it.

I have one question, why did you switch from 2.9 to 2.7? It’s pretty good but the lighting and textures need some work on. The pillows remind me a bit of raviolis and they’re also intersecting. You can’t really see the wrinkles so maybe use a texture instead of modeling it (or it’s just too bright) The only place there are textures is the characters so maybe also texture the rest. The scene is also way too over exposed and the lighting is way too even (and usually the light would look a bit warm if it was coming from a window) although anything else other than that, it’s pretty good

• It’s wayyyy too bright! Please lower the exposure of the image.
• Also, you should carry on using blender 2.8/2.9 as it has more functionality than the 2.7 line.
• The posing is stiff, try bending the torso and head and try to not have the legs stuck together.
• The scene is alright but the window is opaque which is weird. Lower the roughness of the part and turn the metallic to 1.

Altogether a mediocre graphic, but it’s not bad for someone using 2.7 :joy:.

I really like it! Though, I’d suggest lowering the brightness a bit so that the background/sofa can be seen a lot more along with other details.

The two pillows look like you just copy and pasted it and changed the color, maybe change the shape a bit on one of the pillows so it’s a little different.
