First person glitch and leaderstats broken

Update: The first person issue is fixed. However, leaderstats are still an issue

As of less than a few hours ago, players seem to arbitrarily get stuck in first person. There also seems to be something wrong with leaderstats. And both of these issues appear to be widespread, across many games.

Getting stuck in first person (happens frequently in TreeLands - both in studio and in client; sometimes in miner’s haven and other games):

(Note: I am trying to zoom out but can’t. Additionally, I spawned in first person, which is unusual)

Leaderstats labels broken (happens frequently in TreeLands, Zombie Rush, and other games):

(The left column of values should be labeled “Gold”)

We took a poll in the Fissy Games discord to see how widespread the problem is:

It’s not arbitrary with the first person, it treats rotated parts as if they weren’t rotated (or something similar to that).

Reverting a flag to fix this.

I apologize for my confusion, but do you mind clarifying what you mean by rotated parts? And how they relate to the forced first person issue?

I’m not entirely sure, but it seems to operate on the ‘model-box’ of a rotated part. If it’s just a flag that needs to be reverted, you shouldn’t have to worry about it soon. I feel so useful (probably not enough for a hat, though).

The first person camera issue is fixed now, not sure what could be causing the leaderstats issue though.

Having the same issue with Elemental Battlegrounds.. Our players are having a really hard time trying to battle when they are locked in first person.

The leaderstats thing seems to follow the following rules:

  1. The most recent change’s title will not appear. For example, if you have KOs displayed, it will not display any title. If you then add WOs, it will display the KOs title but not the WOs.
  2. When you remove things from leaderstats, it seems to move the titles one too far to the left.

Here are some images from a place with a dynamic leaderboard:

The first image shows what happens when Points has just been undisplayed.
The second image shows what happens when Points are added back.

Just made another discovery. Resizing your window fixes the leaderboard. It might be related to the frame style alignment issue, as that is also resolved by resizing your window.

Thank you! The TreeLands community has sent you some love <3

Sorry for all the posts, resizing your window only fixes it temporarily. As soon as another change is made, the leaderboard goes back to being messed up (but can be fixed in the same way).

Disabling the CoreGui and enabling it again also seems to fix it.
