so i was yet again, messing around, and then i found this glitch/bug, i dont really know what it is.
when my character was in third person, the shadow of the character appeared perfectly, however when i zoomed into first person, the shadow had disappeared. does anyone know how to fix this?
Screenshots:
I think this is natural. The other players will still see the shadow but you wont.
When in first person, all the parts of your character become invisible to you. This also causes your shadow to disappear. From your point of view, there is nothing to cast a shadow.
is there any way to show the shadow?
(I accidentally bumped the delete button ignore that)
Same message: I haven’t payed much attention to shadows in first person, so I don’t know of any games that do this. However, it’s probably possible to create a script that keeps the shadow. I’m not a scripter though so I might be wrong.
There’s no built in feature that allows you to keep the shadow i think.
You would have to remove the humanoid from going transparent when you zoom in which could interfere with the camera. (Considering how time consuming this is, i personally wouldn’t do it, unless you’re experienced or you really need this feature.)
i actually find a solution, this guy had put a script on the marketplace for free,
if anyone wants it, here you go:
