First school gfx

So no school for me today and somehow I get a commission to make a school gfx :joy:

For a first GFX its nice.

I’m going to assume you dont have alot of blender experience so i’m just going to give some basic tips to improve

  1. It looks like you are using paintrig so you should click on the head and turn the strenght on the bump map down to 0 (my preference)

  2. Its kinda messy in the background and it took me a good minute to figure out that the black object was a backpack, you should either raise the camera a little bit, just enough to see that there are tables or scale them up a bit

  3. the green wall is untextured, It’s a very easy fix that you will need to learn. You must download a PBR Material from polyhaven or wherever you find one and then follow a simple youtube tutorial to set it up. Its very simple and effective.

There are some other things I’d recommend to improve but first learn the basics.

I kind of agree here, at first, I thought it was a skateboard at first. It’s not bad though!

How do people even get commissions? Like how did you because no matter how hard I try I can’t get any.

So if you have discord join SOD and HD Servers you can get commissions if you’re a builder to a scripter and any time of dev. Or you could go to the SOD game Developer hangout, go to GRP and ask groups there if they need a logo or lastly devforum recruitment.

it looks nice! some parts do look a little bland and the hair could use some work, other than that it is a good gfx!
