First Time Using Terrain

Hey developers, tried out terrain for the first time, here are some screenshots :

I don’t like how it looks though, does anybody have some tips? Thank you!

Did you make this in studio? If so, its amazing! I’d recommend using an external software to design the terrain and import it.

Yeah, it was made in studio, is blender a good software to use for terrain?

Looks good you should add terrain on the other side of the bridge also

I usually make my terrain in studio since it’s easier for me at the moment, your work looks great so far, if you want it to look “better” you can look at the settings of the water and change them to your liking and you can also use different textures of dirt & sands to make the hill more realistic if you want to go for that. (I’m still learning how to use blender lol)

Try and use the smoothing tool to make the terrain look a little more even. Another thing is to use the paint tool to vary the terrain materials. A little dirt underneath the grass when a hill extends from the ground or some sand near the shoreline goes a long way.

I use the smooth tool, i’ll try out the paint tool out though.

definitely not blender, try searching up a tutorial

I’d actually recommend using 4D cinema of blender. Blender is free and you can get a pretty realistic but it’s not great for studios in the terrain area.
