Just created my first UI design, feedback would be appreciated! (FYI its soposed to be very colorful.)
i cant see text in dark mode!
Unless you have your âSetting Buttonâ actually labelled as such in-game, I doubt many players are going to easily like a clipboard (?) to the settings.
If you do not intend on labelling it, perhaps change your design to a cog?
In addition, every UI instance seems to have that â3D effectâ at the bottom, other than the centre menu part? Is this simply a design choice on your part or an accidental inconsistency?
I like the gradient on it
It makes it look good
Nice work
Pretty good for first time, but I always suggest white text over black text, unless the frame is black.
Oh you click on the menu and the setting buttons show up in a grid the green will be the labels and inside the purple will be the setting and the on or off
I understand this design is supposed to be colorful but neon green doesnât really fit with the other two colors, I would replace it with a greenish-yellow or a light orange shade, I would also recommend adding a settings icon to the settings button (like other people said) it may get confused with a clipboard.
The UI design looks good for a start! Keep in mine, I do not know much about UI design so I will be talking about what I see at a glance. I noticed you added a fade to them, I think it is good for adding the fade so they do not look basic, but try making it a bit more noticeable for the green âmenuâ one. For the âSettings Buttonâ try not doing green for the buttons since they do not match, try adding a color that goes with purple!
The settings button looks much better and the layout is perfect but Iâm not too sure about the shade of red, try making the buttons a minty green (Like the spotify logo)
The green looks pretty good with blue (unlike red or pink), The settings button could stay red if you wanted because green and yellow arent great contrast wise with white
