As a Roblox translator it is almost impossible to get the context of certain strings right without needing to put long hours of playtime into looking for said string.
Currently, many times you go into the tables of any game, you’re greeted with this under “Locations in Experience”:
This is obviously not true as it is always the case, the person who manages the tables, enables the auto-scraper and moves onto a different task for the next few hours.
This makes translating games incredibly daunting and time consuming especially if the person responsible for managing localizations doesn’t that you can download the .csv file with the context present or is unable to. Instead, translators are resorted to making incredibly long notes, record hours of footage or try to play the hit-or-miss game.
If Roblox were to address this issue, it would speed up the translation process for many and would make it easier to efficiently translate and correct translations without needing to take 2 afternoons of playing the same game over and over again.
