[FIXED] How we add decals after using the gap fill with rotated parts?

Hello,

I wish know if it’s possible to properly add decal to rotated parts who had filled with the “GapFill” plugin ?

I would try to union the rotated parts and the parts generated by gap fill. Adding a decal after this seems to make it stretch all the way along the selected side, assuming that’s what you wanted.

Your best bet is unioning it, but if you want it to be more precise, I recommend trying Stravant’s other plugin, ResizeAlign, as it doesn’t create any new parts (just gets perfect edges).

If you wish not union the parts together (since unions can be a pain to work with), you can always create an invisible part with a decal on it. You can freely move the part and resize it without worrying that the parts used by gapfill will crop the decal.
