Fixing indoor lighting being affected by outdoor lighting (picture)

So I’m building a little indoor lobby and I noticed that the outdoor sky lighting is affecting the indoor area making certain walls look super light and some dark I have tried making sure it all closed in but to no avail, any suggestions are really thanked.

Edit; added a picture see how the other light is brighter than the other wall? Happening even tho everything is closed and light would realistically not seep in anyways like there’s nothing blocking the sun light

Hi, maybe the disable the shadow of the parts?
Or disable “GlobalShadows” in Lightning?

Does the light appear on the edges of your walls or is it different? A picture could really help.

It’s difficult to know specifically what the problem is without images, but generally when light is leaking through walls you should consider doing the following:

  • Make the walls thicker
  • Scale a 2x2 wedge to match the length of the wall and place it in the corner
  • Set EnvironmentDiffuseScale and EnvironmentSpecularScale to 0 in Lighting properties
  • Change your OutdoorAmbient
  • Place a thick part above the roof

If these don’t work consider changing your lighting technology, the ClockTime, or the skybox. Further context would be helpful.

I added a picture (it’s a lil low quality) I hope it helps

Possible Causes:

  • Ambient color (Lighting).
  • GlobalShadows is off (Lighting).
  • None of your parts have CastShadow enabled.
