SelectionTools V2.0.0
Hey developers,
Some of you may know my old SelectionTools plugin, which I’ve now deprecated and recoded entirely.
I took some off platform feedback and integrated many more features into this plugin which now includes:
- Selection History - Sick of losing those important selections and having to scavenge your way through models to select specific things again? No problem, SelectionTools has a built in (toggleable) history recorder, just simply find where it logged and click one button and your important selection is now recovered!
- Attribute utilities - You can now copy and paste attributes between instances, in bulk or individually, with our attribute displayer, all you need to do is hit “Copy Attributes” and they’ll appear, you can then redistribute these onto other instances by either clicking the individual attribute, or pasting them all! (this should support all attributes by default)
- Name & Class searching - In our old plugin we let you select descendants or children via class which was usefull (especially for finding them pesky scripts nested away in the workspace), we’ve now opended this up to string gmatching, this can work with class matching or individually by just looking for a string.
Under the hood, we use Fusion as our framework which has sped up development time drastically for plugin development and pure credit should go to the Fusion creators for the time they’ve saved me!

Many thanks,
Ollie!
