With the return of official Roblox events, hundreds of players will try to meet up with Video Stars, Admins, and Event Devs for a chance at free avatar items. Soon after a big Video Star starts a Free Launcher Hat stream, you’ll see a line of +500 players for that one server. If you decide to hop in line for an opportunity to grab some freebies, you might end up waiting over an hour only to be met with this error.
The client says “Followed user has left the experience”, the website says they’re Online instead of In-Game, but checking their stream will show the Video Star never actually left. I’ve been on both sides of this situation, both as a player who loves to collect event items and as a dev who’s done a couple Dev Slice streams for The Classic event. It’s incredibly frustrating for a player to spend so much time waiting, only to watch it all wiped away with no explanation.
- Set ExamplePlayer’s “Show current experience” setting set to Everyone.
- Have ExamplePlayer join a game.
- Fill up the rest of the player slots in that server.
- Queue up hundreds of players to join the server from ExamplePlayer’s profile
- Slowly cycle players in and out, keeping the queue long enough to stay in the high triple digits.
- Wait until players start getting dropped from the line.
