I’d like to have “Lilita One” Font, its met the requirment: OFL - Open Font License.
It expects an Enum.Font
and not a Font
object.
I kind of like this update. While I rather prefer all fonts to be in the font picker on the properties window, I like the idea of fonts being in the market place. Users may even be able to upload fonts one day.
This update is nice.
I really like them to be honest, and I would love to see more in the future
I would love either of these, but most of all I’d love just the Google Fonts to be added in general.
can we please get a good aliased font? (or perhaps a way to disable anti-aliasing)
example (Arial, my favorite font):
silkscreen is technically aliased if you use the correct size, but it’s a terrible font. it doesnt have lowercase letters and the only usable pixel perfect sizes are 9 and 19 which are either too small or too big.
Yes I know but the new font Noto Sans
, which is the font I’m trying to use in ChatSettings
and BubbleChatSettings
doesn’t support the Enum.Font
format (Enum.Font
does not recognize Noto Sans
) because Noto Sans
is an optional Font in the Creator Marketplace (Sorry if I replied back this late, I’m quite busy.)
Speaking of aliasing, it’s something that is forced to us for all GUI. If fonts also were consistent with aliasing, then we wouldn’t have this inconsistent design.
A font I’d like to see in particular would be Bahnschrift/DIN 1451. It has a pretty iconic, modern yet retro & readable, mostly evenly sized look and is used in many things like road signs and license plates in real life.
It’s used in the UI of various games like Half-Life 2, Grand Theft Auto IV and Far Cry 5.
Probably a little late for this but I really like these new fonts, this will be very useful for my future creations if I need fonts without plugins or meshes.
Roblox’s font library for the script editor has some really cool fonts too!
Why not add them in there as well? Things like Marlett would be really cool for alien texts and stuff, not just for coding!
This seems like an internal font designed to display symbols.
why is searching for fonts disabled?
There’s a bug I reported a while ago to Bug-Support where many fonts which are shown as installed don’t show up in the font selection. It’s very annoying to have to use the command bar just to see how a specific font looks just because it doesn’t appear.
I hope Roblox is aware of this, since it’s been happening for a few months now. I didn’t get a reply from Bug-Support.
I have the same font faces loading problem as @TheCrypticRunner. Reopening and reinstalling Studio doesn’t seem to help, but I have a small suggestion.
How about adding a text field in the Font face property where you can paste the fonts assetID and just apply it?
This issue should be fixed now! All installed fonts should load into the font picker now. Please let us know if you continue to see any issues with this.
