Hey you! Young aspiring builder! (or anything) Are you tired of having to multi-task between switching to an application and back to studio just to remember a reference image you’re making a thing based off of it?
Are you tired of having chrome open in the background with the reference image in a tab consuming your ram? Do you want to have the reference image with you in studio? Well, lucky you! Cause For Reference got your back!
For Reference is a plugin that works as a reference viewer for studio. No longer you need to switch between applications, or have chrome eat your ram for dinner! For Reference promises a better studio experience when building, animating, or just about anything!
A simplistic plugin, yes. But that’s it’s purpose!
This plugin allows you to:
- Have a reference image always by you no matter what, with very easy ways to minimise the plugin.
- User-friendly design, less corporate UI. More passion-driven interface.
- Simple architecture, hardware-friendly
- Saves you from multi-tasking
And best of all…
IT’S…
FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
Go get the plugin now, and save your sanity!
Questions you might ask that already been resolved because I tested my own plugin:
- Q: The image I’m trying to insert doesn’t load! What’s wrong??
A: You need to either: copy the texture id and paste that OR insert the decal first and THEN copy the asset id - Q: I found a bug! What can I do?
A: Report the bug in this forum post! - Q: Why does the UI suck so bad?
A: This is still a W.I.P plugin, and this is a remake of the oldest version this plugin had. - Q: Why does the plugin want permissions to insert any scripts?
A: For some reason, if you deny that access, the plugin wouldn’t open outright. There is nothing malicious in the plugin, but it does use code from the roblox documentation when it comes to opening the plugin’s UI.
Good luck on what you’re making with the help of this plugin!
