For the people who have a steering wheel (most commonly Logitech) this would be amazing for racing games as people would be able to feel the car and have precise control over its every move. The input could be mapped like a gamepad joystick or it can have its own enums like controller or have its own service like VR. It would be super fun to be able to actually drive the car and be immersed into the gameplay. The Force Feedback part is what makes the steering wheel ‘react.’ You can use it to limit the steering angle to one of a different car or push it in the direction the wheels are trying to go so people have to fight it.
