thats nice. but something doesn’t seem right about that log cabin door. and the lighting isn’t like too realistic.

I did know how to make the cabin door so a reference the spruce door from Minecraft.

Wow this is amazing! Just a small question, where did you get the moving falcon and butterflies? Can’t wait to see what you make next!

Keep up the good work :call_me_hand:

Here’s the assets pack Forest Pack - Roblox

Showcase is fine, Love the trees and Butterflys, Although The cabin could use a different and more realistic texture. Add more rocks and Flowers or something on the floor. Overall its Fine.

Looks great! I like the detail of the cabin, the rocks, and the layout of the map. You could make some improvements though. Here’s my list.

  • Increase cabin door height.
  • expand forest.
  • make the birds fly higher ( they look to be hawks. Usually hawks will fly high in the air to look for prey. As I remember)
  • create height and depth with the terrain. A path up to the cabin would look really cool!
  • Increase tree height. This can make more shadows and give a darker look to the forest. Using some more items from the pack will help you to create a light blanket over the terrain and one at the
  • Add a barrier with the landscape at the world border. like in Jailbreak and Roblox’s realistic demo, try to create a mountain or hill that players cannot get past, this will make the void of flat terrain that you are currently dealing with less ugly.
  • Use different terrain materials. Right now there is only grass and Leaf covered grass. Adding more materials will make the scene look a bit more complex and make the ground look less plain.
  • Like what @IceTheOneAndOnly said, the lighting looks a bit off and makes the cabin a little brighter than I think it should be considering that there are lit candles.
  • A little bit of flickering light emitting from the candles would make the smoke more visible and light the cabin with a dim light.

Hey good game but maybe set the playermaxzoom to about 30 because I can see out the map.
something like this in serverscriptservice will do the trick:

game.Players.PlayerAdded:Connect(function(player)
wait (0.5)
player.CameraMaxZoomDistance = 30 --change this for a shorter or further zoom!
end)

Small scenery with not that bad environment details the way you took the screenshot, doesn’t show much of what’s going on consider joining the game instead and there isn’t much there. The cabin itself could use some details perhaps through from ‘front lights’ on the sides of the door similar to what some houses use, as that could be a great addition.

Try making the roof out of wooden shingles as it may give it a nice touch to it there are reference image that you could use to take ideas from. Maybe consider placing some more environmental plants throughout the map such as rocks, variety of trees, maybe some bush flowers - lots ect. You can most likely try placing some other elements to make the area look not empty, images do come in handy for these sorts of problems.

My feedback:

  • Be rid of the free model trees because it isn’t really your showcase if you are using free models.
  • The lighting isn’t too pro. Try watching some lighting tutorials :slightly_smiling_face: : Threasto RBLX - YouTube
-The cabin looks good. But @WoodReviewer is to be the judge of your use of wood grain.

I thought it was familiar! Maybe make it taller?

  • Lighting for me looks decent.

  • The models was made be Roblox and the game was acting like realism If I would make a tree in blender its most likely going to be low-poly.

-Plus @WoodReviewer needs to check the wood grain if its noice approved :ok_hand:

I found some spots in the game that looks nice.

I agree with @TESLAC0IL, the lighting could be much better. Just because one person thinks that its good doesn’t mean we all will.

I know that it isn’t easy to make a realistic tree, so I get why you used a free model. But showcases are meant to showcase your own work, so you should add more things that are made by you other then the cabin.

I’d say its decent overall.

So why does @anon74807963 Summer Cabin game has this one tree

SetDefault1 Place

One of my places

Why does it matter if somebody else did it? And I never said to delete the trees, I just said add more stuff that you made. Using free models is fine imo as long as theres a lot more then just the free models.

It looks pretty neat, but I recommend you update the lighting and make more use of post processing effects.
