How do you become a roblox forum moderator?

Check out: https://www.roblox.com/info/jobs?locale=en_us

My guess it is through their job page but i didn’t find any available jobs. Many times their positions like engagment teams are getting closed quickly

Nope, haven’t found anything on their job.

@13_5G what roblox jobs you can work as of age of 14+ and not being in USA but in Europe?

I don’t think there are any. Jobs are already limited in europe such as the german developer engagment team only available in the netherlands (And surprisingly i qualify for that job) and i am pretty sure all official jobs are 18+ only.

What about Croatia, but I’m looking for roblox jobs such as an admin that reviews report / handles them. I can’t not seem to find. It only displays engineering and stuff.

yeah from a quick search, not sure its for everywhere in the EU, but from what I saw you have to be at least 16 to get a job for it to be legal I presume

I believe being a moderator is restricted to certain countries like india. I would wish to be a moderator but the current state of this moderation process doesn’t make it possible. The only job available in terms of moderation seems to be a senior software engineer

This would require you to be located at their HQ

Also in other note @AlphaAdministator, maybe it’s worth asking moderators directly as theres not really informartion on this

I’ll contact roblox on support and ask how to become one. I mean I’m right now interested in this.

Are you a believer in the “replace @robinohara1956” society?

I guess it wouldn’t hurt, but most responses back from support emails aren’t helpful or related to the initial message.

On the main topic, of becoming a DevForum moderator for Roblox, Roblox doesn’t directly hire for that. Many teams make up Roblox. One of them is the Developer Relations team (under the larger Creator group, the discipline is Safety & Support). Under that is a sub-group/team called Developer Engagement. That is the Developer Forum moderation support, I think. It could just be DevRel in general. (sorry for the edit making a bump btw)

This information is from Roblox sources:

personal note

I’m personally trying to get hired at Roblox as a Software Engineer (console or creator generally) or the DevRel team (game design insights would be so cool), hopefully first under the Apprenticeship program they have for Roblox Devs. I’m currently pursuing a BFA in Game Design w/ a Minor in SWE. I’ve followed the jobs site for years now and interestingly Roblox has changed degree mentions to include Game Design degrees. Nice to see. Of course I stress communication and experience in any field is what matters. Not a degree.
