Community forums are in the infancy, so I understand the lack of features in them. However, I think we would benefit from a reply sorting option for each post. Think similarly to how Youtube has different comment sorting options.
Problem: Replies are stuck being sorted by the oldest reply being first. This can become a problem for larger forum posts or posts in larger communities. They get stuck scrolling through a sea of replies that have already been seen, when sometimes they want to see newer or more relevant replies.
Suggestions:
- Sort by whichever reply to the post receives the most reactions and/or replies of its own. This allows more important feedback or topics to bubble up to the top.
- Sort newest to oldest. The most recent feedback or comments on a topic get more attention first.
