I’m looking for a scripted with moderate experience to help teach me to script. I need someone with patience, good communication skills, and can teach me for cheap or free.
I can’t really afford to pay anyone rn more than around 50-100 robux, so anyone who can teach me for free would be highly encouraged to help out. I’ll need like a lesson a day for a couple of weeks, until I feel confident enough to learn more on my own. Please note this is just to help me break the ice of scripting, not overly complicated stuff.

Hi! . To be honest your not gonna get any good help at that price for weeks, that rates hardly seems fair for one session, because most scripters are gonna work on solo projects or group ones that will earn them way more revenue. Scripting encompasses so many topics, and its gonna take a while to grasps programming concepts before actually learning the language, if you have no prior experience with scripting. My advice would be to start by watching videos on how to code,and if you have questions you could always ask for help under scripting support. Tip: be patient as it can take a few months or years for you to become a moderate scripter, if this is the first time your learning.
With the current DevEx rates, you’re only paying the “teacher” 35 cents for weeks worth of lessons on a daily basis.
I would recommend you instead head over to the Developer Hub. Roblox has a team dedicated to educating new Roblox developers and maintaining an updated API. There is API documentation, articles, and tutorials to help you learn almost anything. If you have questions or get stuck, you are able to post on the Scripting Support category for help.
I would recommend doing your own research and learning the basics of scripting yourself. You can try learning java (most middle/high schools have clubs for learning java) or some other very easy scripting language that is commonly used. If you don’t want to do that, watch some youtube videos on the basics of lua and ask the DevForum how to fix issues you have. You honestly dont need someone to teach you how to script.
I’ll add you now and I’ll explain how I usually operate. I’d like to think I know how to script & program seeming as I know a bunch of languages and my syntax / grammar follows the correct standards. And obviously I’ll mainly be setting tasks / explaining stuff cause the best way to learn is to be as active as possible (in my opinion at least).
