I’ve noticed that after the most recent update when I attempt to open the upload model dialog via “File → Publish selection to ROBLOX” it doesn’t do anything at all. I click it and nothing happens… no output… no loading… no dialog… no error… just nothing. This has put a stop to my development as I can no longer update my assets because of this.
Update 1: I have tried restarting my computer, going to file → settings and clicking reset all settings (then restarting studio), uninstalling studio and roblox and reinstalling and yet I’m still having this issue.
Found the issue -.- For whatever reason the dialog is opening on my second monitor (which was off the whole time) so I never saw it… why is it not opening at the location of the studio application? I did notice that the initial opening of studio after the update started at half my monitor’s size (clicked maximize to bring it back to full size) if that has anything to do with it… anyways, found a small bug I guess.
If you opened it there before, it stays on the same location (which should be expected behaviour, this is convenient for most people). If you’re sure you haven’t opened it before then maybe your other screen is set as your primary.
That’s just it. I don’t recall ever bringing the dialog to my second monitor (which is a TV that I only turn on to put Netflix on) plus it wouldn’t explain why the main window started at half size instead of maximized as it usually did after an update. Now that I found the problem it’s no big deal and doesn’t occur anymore, I’m just curious why it would have done that in the first place.
As far as the primary thing, I can assure you that my second monitor is not set to primary.
