Frappé - Code of Conduct
The Code of Conduct is an organized page of rules for all ranks, including customers and staff alike, at all of Frappé’s games. How you present yourself, behave, and go about your day with other people while at Frappé needs to be in check with these rules. Failure to follow these rules will result in disciplinary action.
This is split into two different sections; the ‘General’ section which needs to be followed by everyone, and the ‘Staff’ section that needs to be followed by our LRs (Trainee+). Please note that the enforcement of these rules is at the discretion of our administrators and their say is final. If you believe you have been falsely banned for any reason, please contact a Chief Staff Officer or above.
[1] Trolling or purposely disturbing the flow of the cafe and/or Frappé is not allowed, and you will be automatically be banned from the server without warning.
[2] Exploiting is not allowed at all Frappé establishments. If any signs of exploiting are captured by one of our administrators, you will be permanently banned from all Frappe facilities.
[3] Your clothing choices need to be appropriate to visit our facilities. Inappropriate choices of clothing include, but are not limited to:
- Racist/sexist/ableist shirts.
- Any invisible clothing with a realistic skin colour.
- Any clothing that bypasses the Roblox filter, e.g swearing.
- Any clothing that may offend others, such as anti LGBTQ+ clothing, clothing that suggests sensitive topics and/or events, etc.
If you are not in an appropriate, or if you equip any of the items listed above, you will be given one minute to change into an appropriate outfit. If you refuse or fail to do so, you will be banned. It is at an administrator’s discretion to determine whether your outfit is inappropriate and if they ask you to change, you are required to do so in order to stay in the game.
[4] Any inappropriate usernames that bypass the Roblox filter are not allowed at our establishments, and you will be automatically banned. This includes at training sessions and when applying through our Quiz Center.
[5] Spamming of any sort is not allowed at our facilities or on our group wall, and will lead to you being either banned and/or PCBanned.
[6] Any form of advertising, whether that be your Youtube channel, communication server, Roblox group etc, is not allowed and will lead to you being banned.
[7] Please do not annoy our administrators. If you are continuously following us around or just being generally annoying towards us, we have the right to ban you from the server if you do not cooperate after being initially told to stop.
[8] Please do not make any false accusations or reports about any other users. This will lead to you being banned from our server after a prompt to stop.
[9] Please try your best to speak English when you are at the cafe, as most of our LRs and admins only understand that language. If you are not familiar with English, please use Google Translate and select the “English” option. If you troll in another language, you will be banned from the server. If you fail to comply to speak English after being informed to do so, you will also be banned.
[10] When you are at the cafe, the maximum amount of items you can order at one time is three. If you order more than that in the same order, you will be reminded that the limit is three. If you purposely continue to order more than three items, you will be banned from the server.
[11] Administrators have the right to ban your alternative accounts if you rejoin on them after you have been banned rightfully on your first account for breaking any of the above rules.
[12] Use common sense. If you think that something you might do may not be right, or may be against the rules, don’t do it. This is a loose guide to the basic rules to be followed. Administrators have the right to ban you if we feel that you’re trying to bypass any rules, just because they are not listed on this page.
[13] In order to visit the cafe, your account age needs to be at least 27 days old. This is to prevent trollers and/or exploiters bypassing any bans they may have received on previous accounts. We realise that this may not be ideal for any new users who come across Frappe, however it is for the best interest of our visitors and staff.
[14] Racism or discriminatory phrases/language of any kind is not permitted at any group places. For example “ALM” will result in an automatic ban from the game.
[15] If you are Trello-Banned, PCBanned, or banned from our communications server, you are allowed to send an appeal to one of our Chief Staff Officers or above if you wish for the ban to be lifted. You will receive a response in approximately 24 hours after you have sent in the appeal. Please refer to our Appeals Guide for more information about this.
NOTE: Please also refer to our Barista Expectations guide for more information specific to Low Ranks.
1 - Dress Code:
All LRs are required to wear appropriate attire outside the kitchen. Inappropriate attire includes but is not limited to: offensive, discriminatory, homophobic, anti-Semitic, or racist clothing, “ALM” shirts, “Blue Lives Matter” shirts, or any other shirt mocking the BLM movement. While you’re serving in the kitchen and at training sessions, the torso of your avatar must be visible so the uniform torso is visible.
2 - Responsibility and Behavior:
It is expected that you act in a decent manner that any reasonable person would act in at all of our group facilities, for example you can have a chat with your friends, customers, admins or other workers. However, ensure that you are following the Frappé Code of Conduct and Roblox Terms of Service at all times. We do not want to see you treating others with disrespect, making vulgar jokes, insulting anyone, trolling, gossiping, etc. Not only does this reflect poorly on your own character, but the group as well. When working behind the counter, serving customers should be at the forefront of your mind, therefore they should be served in a professional manner. If you are caught not following the rules, consequences will be given ranging from a demotion, ban, Premium Customer ban, or a permanent ban depending on your rank and the severity of the situation.
Please also note that any actions that are performed on your account, regardless of who was actually using the account, are the account holder’s responsibility and the account will be appropriately dealt with. Excuses such as “it wasn’t me” or “my brother used my account” will not be deemed as valid.
3 - Promotions:
LRs can get promoted by attending training sessions. The last rank you can achieve from trainings is Senior Barista. If you are interested in being promoted further than Senior Barista, then one thing that you shouldn’t do is hint. Asking for promotions, complaining about someone else being promoted or telling an admin that you have worked for months, would be hinting, and could lower your chances of being promoted. This applies to all workers, as it is viewed as unprofessional and disrespectful. Additionally you shouldn’t work for too many hours, considering it’s unhealthy and it will not increase your chances of a promotion. We prefer to see consistent and healthy activity if you plan on working for MR. For more information regarding becoming an MR+, you can take a look at our promotion guide in the main handbook. Frappé - Promotion Guide
4 - Grammar:
If you are a Trainee - Head Barista, grammar is not required at all within any Frappé games. However, your sentences still need to be readable and understandable, so customers and other staff members can understand you. Failure to make your sentences clear and understandable will result in a demotion from your position.
5 - Job Requirements:
In order to become a worker at Frappé, the only requirement as far as the ranks Trainee-Senior Barista go is that your Roblox account must be at least 30 days old. You cannot apply for the Trainee rank if your account was made less than 30 days ago. If you wish to become a Head Barista, you must not have safechat, and you must have a Discord account along with being verified in our Discord server.
6 - Utility Commands:
Utility commands are a privilege given to those on our LR team. Each Junior Barista+ has the ability to call for support and give customers items. The support command is used when you encounter a situation in which you need an admin to use their commands, such as having a troller approach your register, or seeing an exploiter in the kitchen. To utilize this command, press your H key and type “support” into the utility bar. If you’re a mobile user, click the wrench icon on the top right corner, and type “support” into the utility bar. The give command is used to give items to those who order from your register. To utilize this command, press your H key and type “give (username)” while holding the item you wish to give. If you’re playing on a mobile device, tap the wrench icon and type “give (username)” into the bar that appears. These commands are only to be used when absolutely necessary, abusing them will result in a demotion. Head Baristas are also granted the ability to kick disruptive players if there are no admins in the server. To kick a player, press your H key and type “kick (username)” into the bar that appears. For those on mobile, tap the wrench icon and type “kick (username)” into the utility bar. Keep in mind that only Head Baristas are able to use this command, and any sort of abuse of the kick command will result in an immediate demotion.
The rules listed on this page that apply to you and your rank must be followed while visiting and working at any of our group places. Failure to follow these rules or attempting to work around them will result in consequences from our admins. Feel free to message any Staff Assistant or above about the rules listed above if you have any questions, concerns or suggestions about them.
