Free UGC Limiteds Whose Games Will Try And Delete Your Account

There has been a rise in free UGC limiteds, where if you join the linked game, will make you spam the chat with extremely inappropriate messages in order to try and get you banned or deleted. In these games, there are bot accounts that will automatically report you.

Please be careful with any free UGC limiteds you see and please report the UGC and game creator.

(I wanted to post this to show that they are now using UGC to draw people in, these kinds of games were hard to find and were only usually made to troll streamers. I am aware of these games already being known but I wanted to warn people about this.)

Already reported & engineers are aware:

That report was closed without explanation and without the issue being fixed

I’ve been in contact with engineers working on this and rest assured it is being looked into and has been for the past few weeks/months. No doubt they’re aware of it. Whether or not this bug report is filed makes no difference to their progress.

I’m in contact with this individual, one of the admins on his group that had access to upload was using it without him knowing and made a UGC on his group and hooked it to a separate game that terminates people, he removed the people that are abusing it, don’t report him.

Not a bug. This has been around for literally multiple years now, and as mentioned above it’s already been reported and the post was (previously) locked.

If this was a bug, it would have been marked as some sort of high priority/urgent fix (ie “I need it fixed yesterday” urgency) because you can’t have people running around banning random users (especially since this functionality could easily be applied to popular games by rogue devs)

Due to the fact this has been around for as many years as this with zero changes, it’s very obviously intentional/normal behavior.

(Side question: did OP get unranked for posting this? They’re not a member/regular, they don’t have any sort of rank on their profile at all, complete with a darker coloured name)

Okay, well it is a bug in the sense that it’s a vulnerability with the chat system that is yet to be addressed :sob: I wouldn’t go as far as saying it’s not a bug because it’s been around for years. This same issue you saw months ago was due to a different vulnerability that’s already been patched out—the people behind this just keep finding new ways to achieve the same exploit. This new one is simply harder for engineers to look into (as the way it works is quite sophisticated) and hence is taking them more time. This doesn’t at all mean they’re just ignoring it as “intentional behavior” though.
