Please make it so instead of your friends list showing who you recently added, make it show who you added first. It was that way before, and honestly I prefer it that way lol.

Well, what do we use the friends list for in the first place?

I’ve used it to quickly jump to friends’ profiles, but unfortunately that’s only an option for 6 of them. Occasionally I’ll be on my profile and if that person is on that list of 6 most recent friends I can access their profile with one click, but for the rest of the people on my friends list I either have to go to the friends page and scan the page for them or just type their username into the search bar. It’s easier to type their name into the search bar instead of trying to find wherever they are on my friends list, so I just do that.

So I guess the only real use for the friends list is displaying your favorite friends to everyone who visits your profile or holding the 6 friends whose profiles you visit the most. If you’re not doing either of those things the sort order doesn’t really matter (although oldest first is probably preferred over the others because people tend to value their oldest friends first and want them to be #1 on their profile), so if you want the sort to matter you’ll have to let the owner of the profile sort their friends list – otherwise, there’s not really much benefit to any other search order and it wouldn’t be worth the effort to change.
