Friends playing indicator incorrectly hides fourth friend behind '+1'

On Roblox when specifically four of my friends are in a game, the ‘+1’ icon appears. Instead of this, it should instead show me the fourth friend in-game as there’s enough room to display it. It doesn’t make sense to hide them unless there are more than four friends, in which case wouldn’t reasonably fit five avatars.

Happens 100% of the time on PC.

So you are basically saying its only on PC, or the web browser. Mobile/IOS devices have a roblox website on safari/the website on android. Since it happens 100% of the time, another friend of yours MUST be playing the same game. I believe that there is a max limit for player icons, but I am not 100% sure that it is the case, have you looked at how many friends there were?

The point is that it should show another player. There is too much room for the +1 that it can reasonably show another player instead for better ux. The +1 can possibly be placed at the bottom right.

Yeah, exactly this. I believe it’s much more important to me to show a player’s other friend that they might be willing to join over a ‘+1’ symbol that they’d need to click through to see them.

It’d be a different story if there were five or more friends in-game, where it wouldn’t reasonably fit 5 headshots. In that case, it should display a ‘+2’ and above, because there’d need to be a way to indicate that there are more friends.

Thats odd. It would seem it would make more sense if mobile had that that mobile usually has less screen space.

wait is it able to show another friend if you click the +1 or does it just not show which friend is behind the +1?

It shows the friend behind it, but I consider this a bug because there’s enough room to display the friend instead of the ‘+1’, if there’s enough room I’d always prefer if players saw their friends on the card.

Yeah thats odd. It may be a bug because that does not what it shows to me when i am on pc. But i have not played in pc for a few weeks though and it may be a new update.
