I posted about getting clothing to the front page a while back, and was wondering if it is still possible. Recently I put around 10k into clothing twice in order to hopefully reimburse part of the 30% tax taken off. I was told the best amount would be 10k, but after trying this with a relatively stylish piece of clothing, it got no sales. I was told by another person who tried the technique (instead with 25k) that he’d also gotten no sale, leading him to believe that it also didn’t go to the front page.
Has anyone had any success with this? Putting thousands into clothing and getting it to the front page? Or does it not work anymore? If it is still possible, what’d be the best amount to put into it?
