I just finished modelling and animating my first pet. It took well over 20 hours in total. What are your thoughts?

How did this take 20 hours? Are you a beginner? You may be using some inefficient modeling techniques.
I think its either exaggerated or the animating part took him a lot of time or he started using blender this day and decided to learn it at the very day.

Oh yeah the animating part would take a long time.
Overall, I think this is a good animated sea slug. Although I wouldn’t really spend 20 hours making this. But I tip my hat to you for continuing to make this for that long!
