Hello! I’ve been thinking about working on, and releasing a game of mine but I’ve released that it’s going to cost quite a bit (advertisements, hiring other developers, etc.). I did some commisions on the side to help earn some cash for this project, but I’m also looking at some other ways I could potentially make money to fund my games in the future. So, would I be able to use Patreon (a website used for donations) to fund my projects, or would that be against Roblox’s TOS? I don’t really want to use shirts, gamepasses, or DevProducts to fund my games since there’s a 30% tax by Roblox (1000 Robux donation turns to 700 Robux for me). If using Patreon is against TOS, what alternatives are there?

I don’t see how Roblox can control your personal life, namely doing a fundraiser for yourself to buy Robux to advertise with. The only rule that comes close is this one:
But that’s not what you’re doing.

I wouldnt say Patreon is against TOS unless you selling ingame stuff for them to become a patreon.
