Future lighting does not render

I tested it whith the quality at max and it’s the same thing

Bruh you need to enable shadows

They’re clearly not as shown on your screenshot. Each instance has seperate shadow controls.

yes and they are enabled. you can even see that the light is a bit darker close to the walll

It is not darker at all tho. You just have the settings set incorrectly. You need to change them. We can’t help you otherwise

It looks like you have more than 1 light source since that’s not how roblox lighting works, also I don’t know what your problem is? The spotlight clearly properly renders thru as intented in future lighting.

Yeah once again that’s because the people use different settings than you do. I recommend contacting the creators of those vids to learn in-depth how they got achieved some of those cool effects :slight_smile: I’m assuming what you’re looking for in regard of shadow details is shadow softness. The baseplate doesn’t reflect because it’s not a reflective material.

The shadow softness just change the shadow of the sun. It doesn’t change the light source shadow and the baseplate uses plastic and the videos show the future mode using the same baseplate as mine

Shadow softness does affect global shadows tho. Smooth plastic can’t reflect light. What you’re probably talking about is “Reflectance” which is legacy and shouldn’t be used.

It appears that the material used in the image is different and the shadows are properly aligned. Please do not imply that there were any bugs in Roblox. Instead double check your work in the future and provide accurate information. You are just causing confusion.

They are still using different settings and setup the lights differently tho? It is clearly not a roblox bug. The example you’ve shown doesn’t even need to use future lighting to render. (It’s the same on shadowmap).

The settings are the same of the video, i even have a friend that has future mode, i put the same settings and it was very different than my future mode but when i changed it to shadow map it become identical to mine

I guess it’s a bug, nowadays roblox is having many bugs, maybe uninstall roblox studio and download it again.

I already made that, it’s possible that it is because i have a bad pc?
