Hey! So I am close to releasing the version 2 for my homestore. @Coeman_577 is doing our lighting and neither me or him can figure out the issue here. Basically on PC everything looks fine, but on mobile client it’s way too bright.
Does anyone know why this is? We just want the lighting flat like it is in the PC picture, but still utilizing the Future lighting system. Let me know if you have any suggestions.
I don’t think you can edit what level you graphics need to be to have future lighting work. I don’t know if it’s possible as I’m not a programmer, but you might be able to set up two sets of lighting, one for future lighting and one for shadow map and then have a script check to see what the payer’s graphics level is (again, I don’t even know if you cna do that) and then have said script enable the shadow map lighting in the case the player’s lighting is below 5.
Future lighting is not yet enabled on mobile, therefore it will appear in Shadowmap. Don’t worry, Roblox are planning for mobile release once it is properly optimized.
yeah, i known that iOS is more popular but iOS has better performance, for low performance devices like old androids the future lighting can lag the device.
