Future lighting not consistent and unsure what to do

Hi I am spidy123222 and I have a weird issue with future lighting where my lighting would be broken on mobile and on a very low end laptop it looks better but Broken for it’s own reasons. Then when I try it on my desktop it’s exactly what I want it to look like. Even the laptop version I would prefer on mobile than it being very bright in mobile. They are all in max graphics settings btw.

I don’t ask in support in building at all much but. Is there a possible way to fix this without using a script or is there nothing I can do. If this is a bug I can’t find a report of it and I can’t send messages since I don’t have the trust level.

That’s because fib3 is not supported on mobile from how laggy it is though this is temporary. And its not supported in all the currently supported graphic apis roblox has. So on old pcs it wont render. Also on lower settings it wont render. Theres no way on fixing this.

So this is an issue I can’t fix and should ignore for now? Have any idea if It will get supported?

This only happens with the lights and pbr, sun is fine.

Best you can do is to try to make it look similar on shadowmap though it can be pretty difficult to do so. It wont be supported on all graphic settings unless it runs VERY well or they give us they option. They are aware of this and want to fix the big difference but dont ignore it since that could take a while. The only way I can see them fixing it is if they support all the currently supported graphic apis and they decrease the shadowmap resolution to 1x1 or 2x2 studs for lower settings and degrade more of the quality. Or get rid of what made fib3 look good for the sake of making both of them look more simular, though I highly doubt they would do that.

Also the reason why the sun is fine is because sun shadows are supported on mobile and there isnt much of a difference that makes it look overly bright or dark.

I guess I could do a script to temporarily fix it sense. It isn’t fixable without messing with the quality of the lighting. Using a script to change the light brightness. I guess is all I could do for now to compensate. How unfortunate

Only issue with that is on like level 4 it turns on in a certain small radius which means you might need to update the lighting every time it turns back to future but that would be really laggy.
