Future Shooter Prototype "Feedback Welcome"

So this is my first Prototype for a shooter. I would really like some feedback on it. Please note its best when playing with others to just test things out.

Feedback Is Welcome.

Feedback is much appreciated. But please do remember that it is intended for multiple players. If you’re on your own I would still appreciate it, it just won’t be nearly as fun.

Looks like a great FPS prototype for in the beginning.

Some things I want to point out:

  • The reload sounds are repeated constantly throughout
  • There is still gun sway while ADSing while walking around and shooting. The implication is that you are holding it steadily so you can shoot accurately
  • Bullet impacts are always the same and I think you could add some randomness to them such as different sizing or rotation. Also might want to change transparency of the impact blocks
  • From what I’ve seen, people are unable to respawn after being killed.
  • Maybe some gun trails could be added so you can see where the bullets are being shot
  • A simple reload animation would be nice
  • Less damage done to players so you can shoot more bullets for testing
  • Swaying animation still plays after dying
  • Arms holding gun still stay on the map and don’t despawn after dying

But since this is a prototype, I’m quite sure you’ll add all the basics for a FPS.

Otherwise, great game so far!

Thank you so much for all the feedback I will see to as many as possible. Thank you have a nice day.

This is just a slightly modified version of asbuff’s open source fps framework.

I really like the gun model, and the reloading sound. Perhaps adding a reload animation. I noticed that the bullet hole, was a cube object, and had the bullet hole decal, on all sides of the cube. Try and make it a flat object on the wall.

Other than that, great job :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

I did Base It entirely off of the Open Source Framework. Sorry For Not Making that Clear. I will Edit the post now.
