G-Sync Crashes Video Drivers

Launching Roblox Studio with Nvidia G-Sync enabled crashes my video drivers, which requires me to hard reset my computer. This is likely due to V-Sync conflicting with G-Sync. This bug appeared about three or four days ago.

Only Roblox Studio? Have you tested if the client experiences the same issue?

Did you overclock your GPU at all? I had problems with a 24 FPS cap with G-Sync, but no crashes. Haven’t tested recently though because of this random frame rate cap (which is a bug).

I’ve been using G-Sync as well. Although I haven’t crashed at all, there’s been a couple times where my computer inputs completely lock up. The only way to fix it was to either restart the PC or switch users and switch back. Putting the computer to sleep didn’t work.

I was wondering what would cause it and funny enough, I found what i’m assuming would be the old mouse instance was still frozen in the middle of a roblox studio window. I get 2 mouse cursors on the screen, one which I can move, and one which is frozen on studio.

I disabled G-Sync to see if it was the source of the problem, and it was, but the problem didn’t re appear after I enabled it again. My gpu is not overclocked. Now that I think about it, it also happened on the game client when the game was not in full screen mode. I forgot that because I always have the game in full screen, so I didn’t experience the problems as severely as with studio.
