Frequently Asked Questions

Welcome to the Frequently Asked Questions. Here, you are able to find many questions that you, or the community may ask very commonly, and we have the answers to all of them! Do you not see a question that you need answering here? Don’t fret, as you can always make your way over to a member of staff and ask them the question!

Questions

How do I get a job here? - Simply join our group and apply at our application centre! Then, you will need to attend a training session in order to begin working. If you’re looking to rank up a bit more, then make your way over to more training sessions until you gain the rank ‘Senior Staff’. This way, you are eligible of ranking up through hard work and dedication.

Can I get HR here? - Unfortunately, we do not hand out ranks that easily. To become an HR, you are either given the option to work your way up from the starting point, or wait for HR resumes to come out to prove that you’re eligible of working for us as a Higher Rank!

How can I rank up from Senior Staff? - Ranking up from Senior Staff takes hard work, activity and dedication. You have to show and prove that you are committed towards your job and show that you are worthy. This goes for Kitchen Leader as well, you have to prove that you are worthy of becoming MR by undergoing many duties, such as being head of the kitchen, and so onwards. The promotion guide is below to those who are interested in ranking up.

Low Rank Promotion Guide

LR Promotion Guide

Here, you are able to find crucial information to get promoted as a low rank. This can be from Senior Staff to Shift Leader, or Shift Leader to Management Intern.

Senior Staff - Kitchen Leader
Senior Staff to Shift Leader is a rather big jump in the LR category. Jumping from Senior Staff to Kitchen Leader allows you the opportunity to look towards obtaining your first MR rank. This is called ‘Management Intern’. In order to rank up from Senior Staff to Kitchen Leader, it is very much required that you remain dedicated towards your job. It is important to remember to not aim for the promotion right away, but to have fun and make friends to make your journey go by faster. This way, the trip from SS-KL will not seem as long as it really is. Theoretically, it is about having fun within your experience here at Galeté, watching your rank exceed whilst you watch the group grow alongside you. It truly is an amazing experience.

However, another aspect to keep in mind is to remember to remain consistently active. This can be from doing 1-2 hours a day at the dessert bar. This way, the HR team will be able to consistently pick out those who seem dedicated towards their job. We recommend not exceeding 2 hours a day, as it can waste your own valuable time, and may come across as an unhealthy way of spending your time. 2 hours a day at the dessert bar is plenty, as long as within those hours, you are truly working and serving customers to show that you are worth of obtaining Kitchen Leader.
Another way of getting Kitchen Leader is by showing respect to your peers, and customers. This way, it will bring a good reputation your way, giving you a higher chance of being promoted from your role. Unfortunately, here at Galeté, we do not take recommendations from customers, as it can be exploited in a way for individuals to cheat their way through the ranks. Given this, we leave it down to our HR team to define who is eligible of gaining Kitchen Leader, and who isn’t.

Following through with these aspects, you will gain Kitchen Leader in a matter of time. Please keep in mind that for many people within the working community, it can take different amounts of time to gain a rank, given the competition you are up against.

Kitchen Leader to Management Intern
Jumping from Kitchen Leader to Management Intern means that you have shown our High Ranks your capabilities as a Low Rank, and you are now ready to take on MR responsibilities! As an MR, you receive many more opportunities and duties, such as attending trainings and banning trollers, and so on. From the jump, KL to MI, it is important to remember that it WILL take longer than it did to receive Kitchen Leader. This is sincerely because it is a bigger opportunity and duty, given being an MR.

It is important to yet again, work for 1-2 hours a day, consistently. 1-4 days off is fine, yet if it exceeds that in a row, we will have to take into consideration certain consequences.

It is important to also remember that enjoying yourself and not expecting a promotion can speed up the process. If you aim towards different goals, such as how long you have been Kitchen Leader for, it may actually speed up the process, and you shall most likely receive Management Intern before you know it.

Finally, remember to remain professional whilst working. You may not have to use grammar and punctuation, yet that does not exemplify you from being professional. You are to execute this level of professionalism when visiting any alliance, or just visiting the cafe. This is to show to any higher rank that you are worthy of obtaining your new rank.
