Game crashing with Deferred signal behavior

Not much I can describe here since I can’t explain much; whenever I enable specifically signal behavior Deferred (not Immediate, or AncestryDeferred), the game runs for a few seconds then crashes. I know this is definitely related to the scripts within the game since disabling all of them does not cause this effect – a copy of the place file will be in the private message.

System Information:
OS: Windows 11 Pro 24H2 10.0.26100 Build 26100
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X 6-Core @ 3.70 GHz
GPU: Nvidia RTX 3070
RAM: 32.0 GB

Running Roblox Studio Version 0.652.0.6520764 (64bit) at the time of this bug report.

Expected behavior

Game should not be crashing with Deferred signal behavior.

I don’t think your FastSpawn method is compatible with Deferred mode, since event fire is deferred, wait is not completed and SafeFireEvent keeps repeating.

Yeah this was the problem, thank you! We were using a fairly old module (I hadn’t even seen it until now) and it is not compatible with Deferred. You can close this bug report since it’s not a Roblox problem.
