I get an error report when I try to update the game detail description. See error message attached:
Expected behavior
I want to know if the issue is laying with the copy of the description (if there is something on our end we need to change) or if it is an issue laying with Roblox, and if the latter is the case I’m hoping it can be fixed on Roblox end.
Try checking the dev console to see the error code being spat out by the API. Attaching this will also help engineers debug the issue. You can do this using Ctrl + Shift + I on Chrome.
Hey all, there are some known issues with descriptions failing if the description is long and contains a lot of emojis.
We are working on it, but in the meantime we have verified that using Creator Dashboard to post the same description will pass.
