My game does not appear when I search it. You can see that I enabled search feature in screenshot, and it found only one result.
How can I make so it would appear on top? The other very similar named games which are younger than mine are literally all over the page. I even put a lot of tags in description, but still nothing.
I believe the issue is that you don’t even have 2.5k visits, while several of the other games that appear have visits in the millions.
In order to appear on the recommendations, you need to have either an active playerbase of more visits, especially given that your game has competition with the same nam,e.
Not really exactly same name though, I did not see game exactly called “Multiverse Defense”, everything is “Multiversal”, or “Defenders”, or they added “Tower” in the name, and 4th result literally has 2.6k visits. Another question is getting visits while nobody can find your game. Will reaching 2.5k visits give others game in recommendations and search though?
Roblox rarely lets you do exact searches by name, and often does searched based on single words in the search - at least, that’s what it seems to do from testing.
The amount of visits you’d need is not really a goal you should be setting, as it’s arbituary and is a pain.
You should instead focus on getting an initial player count, which you can get through a variety of methods, all related to advertising your game, such as:
It is just about searching. By “getting visits while nobody can find your game” I meant that so: someone says that my game is great, amazing and good and that another person should play it, but when the other person searches it, he just gives up, because it’s not shown at first page. To be honest, if they make it anymore “friendly” towards smaller games, then every single search will just get flooded by spam, stolen / scam games (more so than it is now).
As I’ve said - you just need to get that initial playerbase, until the algorithm recognises that the game exists and recommends it.
They should just recommend games that have more potential, like the ones with frequent updates, great like-to-dislike ratio to avoid being flooded by spam or scam games. The search results are spammed with a lot of games anyways. Thanks for answering by the way.
